My girls love to read books and we all really love the Tag Books at our house. They are a great educational toy and are wonderful for car rides, plane trips, and just during our everyday "rest time"!
So... I got up early this morning and made a trip to Target before church today!!
I got four Tag books, 2 bags of Kraft cheese, 3 sleepwear items, and 3 AirWick candles.
$10/3 Target coupon, I paid about $4 for the Tangled Tag book (it was $13.99 and the rest were $9.99) after using 4 $5/1 coupons paired with the B1G1 free sale, and I paid about $1.10 for both cheeses after using these coupons here. The Airwick candles rang up $2.99 (scan them at the price checker- they were marked $4 something), so they were free about the $3/1 coupon from the 11/14 SS.
So my total out of pocket was roughly $10 total after tax and I saved over $60!!
I have to tell ya, I got to Target a few minutes before 8 am and there was already a line outside!! I'm thinking to myself, "Are they all here for the Tag books?". When they opened the doors, the people ahead of me starting running towards the toy department and my heart plummets because I'm thinking the Tag books are going to be gone. But, they all turned left to electronics when I went down the aisle where the Tag toys are... apparently, there was a good deal on a TV or Xbox or something!
Good thing I didn't ask them while we were standing in line, "Are you here for the free Tag books?" They would have probably looked at me like I was an idiot! :) ha ha!
