A Caroling We Go

Do you go Christmas caroling? When I was younger, we would spend Christmas with my huge extended family at my Grandparents house. The whole group of us, usually 20 or more people, would bundle up and go caroling to my grandparent's neighbors. It was so much fun!

I think this is a tradition I may just have to implement again with my family. What a wonderful way to spread Christmas Love to your neighbors!

You could make some yummy treats to pass out as well. This White Chocolate Chex Mix recipe is so yummy and easy to make. Pour some in a small bag, tie with a pretty bow, maybe include a verse or the service schedule for your church with it, and share with the neighbors!

White Chocolate Chex Mix

3 c. Rice Chex
3 c. Corn Chex
3 c. Cheerios
3 c. pretzels
2 c. mixed nuts
12 oz. M & M's
1 lb. white chocolate (I bought the Meijer brand that comes in a microwavable tray-- so easy!)

Melt chocolate. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Spread out on wax paper to dry. Enjoy!

  1. I feel all warm and fuzzy now! I loved caroling with the family, it was so much fun. That and playing Green Meanie are two very awesome Christmas memories I have at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Thank you for that memory!

  2. I know- I miss those days, don't you? Sigh... childhood memories!
