Q- short for coupon
Cat- a catalina is the coupon that prints out from the machine next to your receipt. This is usually a Manufacturer coupon, but will have the store name printed on it. It may be a coupon or it may be rewards money to use on your next order.
OYNO- "On Your Next Order"
YMMV- "Your Mileage May Vary", meaning you may not have the exact same situation at your store. This may be in regards to what you can find on clearance or in speaking on individual store's policies. For example, my CVS will accept expired Extra Care Bucks, but many stores do not, so this would be a YMMV situation.
1/1/10 SS- January 1 Smart Source coupon Insert
1/1/10 RP- January 1 Red Plum coupon Insert
1/1/10 PG- January 1 Proctor & Gamble coupon Insert
1/1/10 GM- January 1 General Mills coupon Insert
ECB- CVS's rewards "money" is called Extra Care Bucks
RR- Walgreens rewards "money" is called Register Rewards
Wags- short for Walgreens
MFR or MF- manufacturer
MB- Meijer Mealbox coupon (store coupon you can use WITH a Manufacturer coupon!)
Stack- you can "stack" a Manufacturer coupon WITH a store coupon (Meijer, Target, CVS, etc) for the same item.
Overage- sometimes the coupon is for more than the amount of the product. Sometimes the coupon will be adjusted down to the purchase price and sometimes you'll get overage- meaning the difference will go towards your grand total or tax.
Moneymaker- you may end up making money on a deal if you get more money back in rewards money (ECB, RR's) or with a rebate.
WYB- "When You Buy"
IP- Internet Printable. You can print coupons online if you have installed the coupon printing software. You can usually print two per computer.
Double- Some stores will double manufacturer coupons everyday, up to a certain value. For example, my Meijer will double manufacturer coupons that are $0.50 and less. (A $0.50 coupon is automatically doubled to $1 at the register). Some stores will only double a certain number of identical coupons (Meijer is 2 identical). Some Internet coupons won't double if they say "Do Not Double" at the top.
