Easy Spring Craft for preschoolers

Here is a fun and easy craft we did for preschool last week. Create a Spring Butterfly.

Here's what you'll need:


Two coffee filters
Clothespin
Pipe cleaner
googly eyes (or draw your own)
Small cotton balls
Markers
Paint brush and water



Have your preschooler cover the coffee filters (front and back) with markers. Dip a paintbrush in water and brush water over the filters- this will make the colors run together and blend.

Place on a paper towel to dry.

Once dry, scrunch the two pieces together and clip in the middle with the clothespin.

Using a hot glue gun, a parent can glue the eyes on one cotton ball and glue three cotton balls on the clothespin for the body. Glue the pipe cleaners to the back for antennae.
