UPDATE: My friend Chris received this email from Kellogg's in regards to the Gas Card Program:

Based on our records, you have recently contacted us and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced while trying to participate in the Kellogg's Gas Rewards Card offer. Please know we have listened to our consumers and have made the decision to process requests received on or before the original promotion end date of April 30, 2012.

Our intention was never to create frustration. This was a very popular offer, and we exhausted our supply of gas cards. So we made the decision to end the offer effective April 2, 2012, and all requests that were postmarked by April 2 were to be processed as received. We soon learned that many had already printed the order form but were not aware that the offer had ended prior to mailing in their request.

If you have your original submission that was returned to you and have not sent it back in, or meet the requirements for a new submission, please mail your materials postmarked by April 30, 2012, to the original address - P.O. Box 7299, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-7299. The P.O. Box has been re-opened and we will process once received. As we are unable to provide the gas rewards card, you will receive a check in the amount that covers the value of the Gas Rewards Card.

Please know that we value you as a consumer and hope you will continue to look for other great promotion offers from Kellogg Company.

Also, I received my check yesterday. I never had my original sent back, so maybe they stopped sending them back? If you still haven't received a check or your original rebate back in the mail, I'd call them and see what's going on.

If you sent in a rebate for the Kellogg's Gas Card (I posted this moneymaker Target/Raisin Bran/rebate deal here), then you need to read this post!

According to Paul at I Heart the Mart, they have run out of Gas Cards and ended the rebate early.

Kellogg's Gas Card Program has ended early (original closing date 4/30/12) due to the companygas cards. Any envelope postmarked on or before Monday, April 2 will be processed; all others will not qualify. Kelloggs Consumer Affairs Dept. provided the above info, 1-800-962-1413 .

IF you mailed yours in before 4/2, you will still have yours processed! However, the address has changed, so it may be sent back to you! In order to have your rebate processed (it will be a $10 check now, not a gas card), you will need to call and get a reference number. DO NOT open the envelope that is returned to you, but instead, after calling and getting a reference number, mail the entire thing to this new address (so they can see the postmark):

Meijer Updates: amazing deal on Banana Boat and moneymaker on Travel size Pantene!

I did a huge shopping trip at Meijer yesterday to take advantage of the great Kraft deals. I wanted to update you on a few things.

First of all, there was a hang tang by the Pantene products that said, "Buy 1 Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner AND 1 Pantene Styler, recieve back a $5 custom coupon valid on your next order."

This makes a MONEYMAKER on the trial sizes!

Here's what I did:

Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner in one, travel size $1
Pantene Hair Spray, travel size $1
Get back a $5 catalina coupon
Final cost: Free plus a $3 moneymaker!

Also, travel size items are on sale for Buy 4, Get 1 Free so you could pick up 5 travel sized items (make sure 1 is Pantene Shampoo or conditioner and 1 is a Pantene hair spray), pay $4 and get back a $5 catalina. I'd rather have the moneymaker, but if you can use Travel Size items, this is a great deal!

Secondly, I did the Buy $25 or more Playtex, Schick, Banana Boat or Hawaiian Tropic, get $10 off instantly. Limit 1 offer per transaction.

Here's what I did:

4 Banana Boat Sun Screens (20% off) $6.39 each
I used (2) $1/1 coupons from the 4/22 SS
Got $10 on instantly
Final cost: $13.56 for all 4, or just $3.39 each!!!

This should last us most of the summer I hope! If you had 4 $1/1 coupons from the 4/22, you'd pay just $2.89 each!

I ended up spending $94 all together and got back a $5 catalina. I saved $90, so I cut my grocery bill in half, which is my goal each time I shop! My bill was a little higher than normal because we have a family birthday party this weekend that I had to stock up for and we're having some friends stay with us overnight this weekend, so I picked up a few extras!
