Perfect Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe

I'll be making this today when the kids are done with their homeschooling!!

This Pumpkin Bread is ah-mazing! My kids and hubby and I gobble it up and I've given it out to friends and neighbors and gotten great feedback.

I like to use the real mini-chocolate chips... I think you get to add more that way!

This bread is good all-year round. I love pumpkin anytime of year. Who says Pumpkin is only for the fall? Who dares put Pumpkin in a corner?

Anyway, on to the recipe. Enjoy!!

Perfect Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 and 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350 F degrees. Spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with non-stick spray.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt together until combined. In a medium bowl, mix the eggs and sugar together, then mix in the pumpkin and oil.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients and gently mix together and then fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55 minutes. (It may not be done, depending on your oven, but I start checking it at around 55 minutes). The bread is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. At the longest, this should bake for about 60-65 minutes.
