Quick and Easy Crock Pot Beef Stew

You can't see the stew meat, but it's hiding under all the veggies!

Here's a recipe for BEEF STEW that is super easy and quick. It's kinda of a fix-it and forget-it type of dinner-- great for days when you won't be home but need to have dinner ready when your troops get hungry!

This stew is so yummy-- the sauce is sweet but also has a little tang to it. You'll definitely want a nice piece of bakery bread to sop all the sauce up!

Some people like to throw in corn, frozen peas, green beans, etc into their beef stew and you could add those things if you want to. I like to keep mine simple... plus it less things for people to just pick out.

My hubby likes to add barbecue sauce on top of his beef stew.... I think it's strange, but he and his sister grew up doing this! Hahaha! Does anyone else add BBQ sauce to their stew??

Quick and Easy Beef Stew

Ingredients:

2 lbs stew meat
Dashes of onion salt
Dash of garlic salt
6-8 small round red or yellow potatoes, washed and quartered
3 C baby carrots
1 can tomato soup
1 C water
3 T brown sugar
2 T Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Lay stew meat on the bottom of the crock pot and place the veggies on top. Mix together tomato soup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt and pour over vegetables. Do not stir.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste.
