I've never really been one to "celebrate" St. Patrick's Day, but I really got into the holiday this year with our Preschool activities!
St. Patrick's Day Preschool Fun!
1) We learned about St. Patrick's Day with an education video from MightyBookJr.com (click on "holidays" under Special Education on the right- it's a suitable video for anyone!) If you haven't signed up for a free year subscription to this site, read here.
2) We made a Memory Game using a Leprechaun's Gold Coins and free printables here and here. (I found the gold coins at Walgreens for $0.99 for a bag of about 12.)
3) We did a Math Activity with graphing by using Lucky Charms cereal marshmallows. I printed the graph here and used some Lucky Charms from my stockpile (courtesy of Meijer a few weeks ago). The girls really got a kick out of this and did an awesome job completing the graph.
4) We made Patty the Leprechaun with paper plates and this template here!
There were so many more cool activities I wanted to try, like these 5 Fun Games here as well as these conversation starters here (I think we'll use these at dinner on Thursday), and this Pot of Gold craft here.
