DIY Yardzee Game! Free instructions and printable score card!

My clever hubby made this Yardzee Game over Labor Day Weekend! We had a great time playing it outside together at my parent's cottage!

So simple to make (well, it looked simple... hahaha! This is one DIY I didn't do myself. But it didn't take hubby too long, so I think it's pretty simple)!

Just take a 4x10 piece of wood (he used some scrap wood he had) and cut it into 5 cubes. Sand them down and then spray paint your choice of colors. Then paint or Sharpie them to look like dice by adding dots to each side. You can use a round sponge brush or use something small to trace the circles and then use a Sharpie to fill them in.

I made a printable score sheet for you to download if you want to give it a try as well! GO HERE to print!

If you don't remember how to play, the rules are here.

We will be playing this a lot more this fall and plan to take it with us on camping trips as well!

  1. Thank you for the instructions...BUT what happened to player #5? :)

  2. Thank you for noticing that! LOL, I'll make a note to fix my typo! :)

  3. Bohnanza is designed by Uwe Rosenberg, well-known for many other successful games, such as Agricola, Le Havre and the more recent Ora et to play solitaire

  4. Card games have evolved over the years, today when most people think of solitaire games today, many people would immediately think of the digital versions for computers, and this is a natural occurrence and overall a good thing for single player card games, as times change they need to stay current, however, there are still millions of people who play the "old-fashion way" with a standard deck of cards.

  5. I'm looking to make several sets for some non profit groups in our city as a service project for our senior class and was excited to find you are letting us print this for free. THANK YOU! I did notice that on the score pad the Ace, one, and two, while centered, you can't see the numbers very good. Thanks again for providing this for free. It helps a TON when we don't really have a budget to work with.
