About Savvy Spending
Savvy Spending was created after seeing the OECD survey about financial literacy. My home country, Cyprus, has ranked one of the lowest on it. Knowledge is key, and I wanted to share it. There are many resources just like this one, nevertheless, based on the fact that you might not know some of the things I have taught here, resources like mine are important. The abundance of them, as I believe, leads to more people seeing them and more people being savvy about their spending. This course is based on my academic and proffesional experience and is in large a summary of the important highlights of lectures on financial literacy I was a part of countless times. This website is a small share of my knowledge that I deem important and want the world to see.

IMS Private School
A highly competitive private school located in the heart of Limassol. As part of my A-Level journey I currently hold five predicted A*s in Economics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, and Psychology. Additionally, I hold a 20 Apolytyrion.
2025
CySEC Advanced Certification
A financial certification issued by the regulatory body of financial institutions and securities of Cyprus. It is fully recognised accross the EU and provides knowledge of financial markets and their regulation. On the exam, I have achieved a score of 100.
2024
Stripe Internship
Stripe is an online payments company. You have likely used it countless times when you have checked out in online shops. In the month-long interships I have attended lectures and led a group of four people on consulting Stripe about its mainline services. Our evaluation has been a runner-up for the first place in the competition held for interns such as me.

Freedom24 Internship
Freedom24 is a brokerage firm based on Cyprus. During my internship, I was a part of a large internal audit, evaluating the contracts that Freedom24 had with its counterparties such as marketing agencies and security services.

Yale Young Global Scholars Attendee
Yale Young Global Scholars is a competitive and selective summer program that is hosted by Yale University. On the Politics, Law and Economics track we were lectured on global issues such as terrorism and smaller-scale financial projects such as lending to poor farmers in Africa. We examined the economies of different countries in South America and took home two weeks of out of the box thinking.

Awards
I earned a silver medal in one of Cyprus Mathematical Society olympiads and took a first in one of Trinity Private School's mathematical olympiads.
